Our fundraisers help support the spring break and saturday trips for things like transportation costs and any tools we might need. For spring break trips the affiliate also requires a contribution for each student, which the club partially pays for.
This year we've been at it again: selling baked goods at Mandel Hall for the Chicago Presents Concert Series. We will continue this throughout the year, and years to come (hopefully).
In Winter of 2006 we participated in an event called Row for Humanity. This event is cosponsored by the Crew Team at the UC, and with their support we raised close to $1000 for our rowers. Hopefully this will become an annual event. Pictures to come.
