Habitat for Humanity at the University of Chicago sends groups of students, faculty and staff to various places around the city, state, country and even the world. In the past we have worked with Northwest Indiana Habitat in Gary and Hammond, and also on a shelter in Valparaiso, IN, but much of the work at these sites have been completed. We have begun to work with other affiliates, including Windy City and Joliet. We plan to continue our domestic trips every year and our international trips every other year. The Projects section of our website is meant to showcase the many work trips and events that Habitat for Humanity participates in by posting pictures and text about such events.
Past Trips
Any Given Saturday: We post pictures and text about various Habitat Saturday work trips. Usually these are trips to places like Hammond, Indiana or throughout the Chicago area.
Spring and Winter Trips: The name says it all - here we post pictures and text from past and present Habitat trips to international and domestic sites.
